predicate. The predicate here can be verb or not
verb, either in the form of an adjective, noun or another.
In English grammar, clause can be divided into two groups, namely:

In English grammar, clause can be divided into two groups, namely:
1. Main Clause
The main clause in Indonesian is often called the
main sentence. The main clause is the clause that canstandalone as a simple sentence and have a complete understanding, for
example :
"They paint the window"
2. Subordinated clause
Subordinate Clause in the Indonesian language is
often called the child sentences. Subordinate clause is
a clause that can not stand alone as a sentence. This clause will have a complete understanding when in
combination with the main clause, for example:
"He is the writer whose book you're reading"
At the word "whose book are you reading" is
a child sentences. Because the word is not having a complete
understanding when not in
combination with the main sentence is "he is the writer"
Conclusion: I think the clause is a group
of words containing a subject or a predicate. Clause consists of two groups: the first is the
main clause that we often know as the main sentence and the second is
a subordinate clause or often known as child
sentence.
